LAura Simeon

Laura Simeon is the Special Events Coordinator for The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation. She has a love and passion for kids and those with special needs. For many years Laura has given her time to The Autism Societies, Special Olympics and most recently Operation Underground Railroad. She is excited to join The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation knowing she is making a difference in the lives of these band families.

Laura is busy mom of five and married for over 28 yrs to CTJ crew member and Air Force Veteran John Simeon. In 1998 after living a Military life, the family made San Antonio and NEISD their home. Laura's oldest son is special needs but had a gift and love for music. Justice joined CTJ band program playing Marimba. The program was very supportive of her son and he went on to earn a silver medal his junior year at UIL state solo and a gold his senior year! Her youngest will be joining the fall of 2022 also as a percussionist and baton twirler. Kinsey had the opportunity to be in The Circle of Life show as one of the cubs when only in 6th grade! This is a prime example that the Claudia Taylor Johnson program is for anyone that has a love for music/performing and the desire to share it!

Laura and her husband will continue to support The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson cluster mission because of the positive impact it has had on their children's lives and with hopes that impact will continue for other families in the future.
