Volunteer Opportunities

For the 10th year in a row, CTJ has been named the host band for the 2024 BOA San Antonio Super Regional marching competition held at the Alamodome. This means we need many volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity for the school and the band program to shine!

By signing up, you will get a t-shirt and you get to watch bands for free the day you work. If you work a morning shift and get off at 11:00 a.m., you are able to watch bands the rest of the day for free. If you work the middle or late shift, you can come early and watch the bands before your shift and after you are finished. You can work multiple shifts – we are grateful if you DO! Sign up for as many shifts as you want. We'll provide meals for those who work through lunch or dinnertime.

There is something for everyone to do. If you have some limitations that might keep you from working, we can probably find something that fits your situation. There are over 300 four-or-five-hour volunteer work shifts during this multi-day event, so please sign up for at least one shift.

We want to make this as simple as possible for you to sign up. We need all volunteer slots filled by October 1. The event will be here before we know it, so please consider signing up today while it is on your mind. The CTJ band family, including alums, has always risen to the occasion. Let’s keep this tradition alive!
